- Congratulations to the boys and girls cross country teams on their impressive finishes in yesterday's State Vocational meet. The lady Chieftains were able to secure a second-place finish for the second year in a row and the male Chieftains were able to secure a fourth-place finish out of a total of 14 teams. The meet was highlighted by great performances from senior captains Cam Platt and Lauren Biedak, who both finished in fifth place in their respective races. The Chieftains were also aided by seniors Gabe Moreno, Austin Ahern, junior Victoria Gonsalves, sophomores Allen Avery, Alexis Kublin, and freshmen Ari Escobar, Kaiden Conroy, and Rob Burdick. The Chieftains are looking to finish their post season strong in next week's Eastern Massachusetts State Championship race. Great job to all runners!
