Good Afternoon Students, Parents, and Community Members:
This week the commonwealth celebrated Massachusetts Agricultural Day at the State House! The agricultural industry including agricultural education students, flooded the state house to talk about the importance of agriculture in Massachusetts and make sure that our elected officials know that agriculture is alive and well in the Bay State and thank them for their tireless support! Below are a few pictures from the days events!

In the Classroom:
  • Animal Science: With the nicer weather coming in this week, Freshman exploratory students were out giving dogs a quick walk.  
AGGIE AIR Workshop: This past weekend 8 Bristol Aggie staff members attended a Drone Workshop.  At this workshop, staff members learned how to use drones, read navigational charts, and many more.  Below are some pictures that our drones produced. Stay tuned for many more! #AGGIEAIR

EXTENDS: Day before a long break, but our students desire to learn continues after school! Keep up the great work and it will pay off in the end.

Congratulations to our 10th grade students for completing the ELA MCAS this past week.  Way to go!!
Upcoming MCAS Dates:
10th Grade Math: May 23rd and 24th
9th Grade Biology: June 6th and 7th
All students interested in helping to organize Bristol Aggie’s Anti-Bullying/Cool to be Kind week are asked to sign up in Student Services with Dr. DiGioia.  Listen to announcements for upcoming meetings!
Vocational Pep-Rally: The date is set for Friday, April 13th during the last 2 periods of the day.  Students will go to “H” period, check in for attendance, then we will call students down to the gym to begin the Pep Rally. Each year, we want to add a few new events to accompany last year’s top event, “Next Top Major.”   On Monday, we sent out a survey, and here are the final results which will be events at the Pep Rally:
  • Tug of War in Slipper Socks: Similar to the traditional Tug of War, but contestants will be wearing slipper socks (similar to socks used in hospitals)
  • Sleeping Bag Chariot Race: This one was a 2 lap relay race with 2-4 teams going at once. Each team has two pullers and one rider, on a sleeping bag. Once they go around the track, the next group of pullers and riders begin their relay
  • Junk in the Trunk: Contestants will have a tissue box filled with ping-pong balls, that is attached to the back of belt. When the clock starts, player may begin moving body to shake the ping-pong balls out.  hen the clock starts, player may begin moving body to shake the ping-pong balls out without using your hands or arms.
  • Marshmallow Toss into partner’s Bowl:  One contestant will have a bowl on their head, while their partner will try to get marshmallows into the bowl from a designated distance.
  • Jello Eating Contest: Find the jelly bean!: While eating a bowl of jello with no hands, a contest will try to find the jelly bean in each bowl.

Alleynah Souza, Sage Miranda, Sydney St. Pierre, Abbygail Rioux, & Kristina Rogers to purchase from now till April 6th.
