Aggie
Weekly
Good Afternoon
Students, Parents, and Community Members: Please click here for the Aggie
Weekly
We hope all fared well
in the storm the last couple of days. Unfortunately it does not look like
we will get much of a break next week, with another storm coming on Tuesday
night. Let’s cross our fingers for some rain! As of now we have had four
snow days, and our last day of school is
Monday, June 25th.
Next Phase for Seniors: We are proud to
share with you our senior’s plans for their next step in their college and
career exploration. Based on the knowledge and skills, learned during their 4 years at BA, we are
excited to publish acceptances into
colleges, universities, military plans, and any career pathways each week.
Please let Ms. Dias know in Student Services, so we can update our list
weekly. Thank you for your dedication to
excellence and drive to maintain Bristol Aggie Excellence.

In the Classroom:
- ELA: Freshman in Mrs. Noel’s
English classes have been very hard at work this week. They have
been mastering crucial skills from Massachusetts English Language Arts
Standards, specifically » Reading: Informational Text. These are
part of the Common Core skills that develop college and career
readiness. In particular,students
have been reading non-fiction articles (a.k.a “informational text”) and
current events magazines; their focused task has been to pull out
key ideas and details, make inferences, determine main ideas, and provide
objective summaries of the text.
These are techniques that require practice to master and serve as a
building block to strong comprehension and
adept ability to respond to writing prompts! Keep up the
great work freshman students!
- Arbor: After this week’s storm,
there was plenty to clean up. Mr. Cook and the sophomore Arbor
students learned how to chip brush.
- PE: Today students from Animal
Science and NRM were battling in Badmitton.
