Aggie Weekly- October 5th

Aggie Weekly
Good Afternoon Students, Parents, and Community Members:
This week our students had their last full week to prepare before fall show.  Students are already working way past 2:30 in several departments in order to set the stage for this year’s Fall Show.  Students and staff are working together to prepare student showcase presentations. Check out the schedule below. #FallShow2018

Congratulations to this Week’s High Five Club Winner, Nicole Simas

Fall Show Schedule 2018
Fall Show preparations are the busiest time of the year at Bristol Aggie.  As soon as
we get back to school, our students and staff hit the ground running preparing for
another successful Fall Show event.  This year, you will notice some minor additions
to Fall Show. We are highlighting student achievement through student presentations
at Fall Show.  We wanted to highlight the depth of knowledge our students have in their
field to our local community, so we created a “Student Showcase”. We are excited to
hear about the student projects from the student lens.  See full schedule below.

October is Breast Cancer Awareness month and the Bristol Aggie Chieftains are showing their support. Each year our teams raise money for the Side-Out Foundation. “In volleyball, ‘side-out’ means regaining control of the ball. Similarly, the Side-Out Foundation helps people with breast cancer regain control of their lives”. This organization raises money to fund education, research, and treatment for those living with Stage IV breast cancer. The Side-Out Foundation also invests in the future of athletes by awarding college scholarships to Side-Out Ambassadors. #BAdigspink

The Girls Soccer program will be playing for a cure in their “Kick Pink” game Friday, October 5th against Blue Hills. Game will start 3:30pm on the baseball field. Team members will be selling pink bracelets (1 for $3 or 2 for $5) and food during the game, come show your support! If you would like to donate, click here. Help us reach our $500 goal! #BASupport

The Girls Volleyball program will be playing for a cure in their “Dig Pink” game Friday, October 12th against Southeastern. Junior Varsity game will start at 4pm and Varsity to follow at 5:30pm! Team members will be collecting donations at the door! If you can’t make the game and would like to donate, click here

Boys Soccer: The boys soccer team lost a hard fought battle on Tuesday vs. Coyle Cassidy. Bristol Aggie scored first to put the team up 1-0 by a Kobe Brierly goal in the first half. Coyle came out strong in the second half and scored 3 unanswered goals. Jake Santos played well in goal, while the defense led by Trevor Clapp, Andrew Flory, Nate Silvia, and Tyler Clegg shut down the Coyle offense for most of the afternoon.
