Aggie Weekly
This week our students enjoyed an early release day on Thursday, while our teachers were hard at work developing curriculum. Our teachers continuously work behind the scenes to develop units and lesson plans to ensure we are maximizing student success. Our winter sports season officially starts next week. Take a look at the calendar below to cheer on our student-athletes during their home games. With only two weeks until winter break, let’s make sure that you are all caught up on your work prior to the new year.
This week we had two High Five Club Winners:

National Honors Society Induction Ceremony: On Wednesday, the National Honors Society (NHS) welcomed in 11 new inductees. It is an amazing and prestigious honor to be selected into NHS. In addition to having excellent grades, students must also meet the four pillars: Service, Character, Leadership, and Scholarship. Keep up the great work and continue to make us proud.

Flori Seniors: Flori Seniors designed their first winter wedding. Students used a mix of winter greens, red and white roses and decorative christmas balls.
Agricultural Mechanics: On Friday, in Mr. Medeiros exploratory class, students learned how to use the tire machine, weld, and use the chop saw. Safety first!
Animal Science: This week The Bristol Aggie Animal Science Dept was awarded the honor of being selected as one of the top quality milk producers from the Agri-Mark Cooperative. Each year Agri Mark recognizes its members who achieve this status at their annual regional meeting. To be chosen for this award you must meet strict criteria of the highest standards in milk quality throughout the entire year. Each farm’s milk is tested at every pick up to ensure low levels of bacteria, somatic cell counts, and always must be 100% free of any antibiotics.
Even though we often get this award it is not guaranteed every year. It is only because of the daily efforts from everyone involved in the success of our farm that we are able to produce such top quality milk every single day.
