Aggie Weekly- March 6th

Good Afternoon Students, Parents, and Community Members:

This week we were able to enjoy a preview of the spring weather. Students had a half day on Thursday while teachers were provided professional development from one of our own staff, Ms. Szurley. Ms. Szurley’s workshop focused on our future goal of going 1:1 technology when we have completed our renovation. In addition, our staff completed a rough draft of our Bristol Aggie Core Values. Our next step will be to speak with students, parents, and then final approval from the Board of Trustees.  See our draft Core Values below:

  • Respect: We treat others with kindness and understanding. We conduct ourselves in a manner that builds trust, safety, and well-being for all members of our community.
  • Integrity: We do what is right and honorable, even when no one is looking. We are honest and kind. We take responsibility for our own work and our own actions. We model our core values both on and off campus.
  • Perseverance: We rise to the occasion even when things become difficult. When faced with failure, we assess the challenges and create solutions. We demonstrate care, effort, and a strong work ethic in accomplishing our goals.
  • Community: We welcome everyone. We embrace all differences in order to work and communicate effectively. As community-driven individuals, we thoughtfully build understanding by obtaining information and engaging with diverse perspectives.
  • Pride: We celebrate the successes, achievements, interests, and qualities of everyone in our school community. We are passionate lifelong learners, cultivating the spirit of Bristol Aggie.
