Good Afternoon Students, Parents, and Community Members:

We would like to wish all the Mom’s in our Bristol Aggie community, a Happy Mother’s Day!

This week’s HIGH 5 CLUB Senior of the Week-ANGELINA ARAUJO

This past week, Bristol Aggie students posted their messages of appreciation to our faculty and staff on a digital bulletin board wall:

Check out the Padlet link to view the gratitude for our teachers!

PTO Recognizes Staff: On Thursday, the PTO provided our staff with lunch and sweets! We are fortunate to have such a thoughtful and dedicated PTO. #BAPride

In the Classroom:

  • Arbor: On Wednesday, the Arbor department hosted First Responders on campus for aerial rescue training. Members of the Bristol County Technical Rescue Team received training from the students and staff on aerial rescue. Mr. Cook, Mrs. Duffy, Taylor Sirois, James Chiavaroli, Gabriella Caravalho, Jalisa Simal, Brody DelDio and Charles Bellefeuille spent the morning discussing gear, techniques, and safety protocols. (Check out our Instagram for more photos)

  • Equine: On Wednesday, Equine hosted 32 first responders from the MSPCA Equine EmergencyRescue course that was held on the Bristol Aggie campus. Emergency personnel came from the following towns and cities: Dighton, Berkley, Freetown, Taunton, Dartmouth, Westport, Norton New Bedford, and the Bristol County Technical Rescue Team. Lunch was provided by Providence Canteen, a nonprofit organization that provides support to first responders during emergencies and other critical situations. (for more photos, check out our Instagram)

  • Arbor Jamboree: Each year, the Arbor department hosts their annual arbor skills competition, called the Jamboree.  Arbor students are able to showcase their skills in events like the speed climb, skills, and line throw.

Attention Class of 2023:

May 12, 2023

Dear Students and Parents/Guardians of the Class of 2023,

Graduation is rapidly approaching and we are making final preparations for this memorable event, which is set for Thursday, June 1st at 6:30 pm.  As we previously stated (letter dated April 24th), we are planning to host graduation on our baseball field.   If weather impacts an evening ceremony, then we will have a rain date on Wednesday, May 31st (and a second rain date of Friday, June 2nd).  Each graduate will be given 4 tickets. The tickets will give you access to the seating on the field.  If you have more than four guests, they will be able to stand/sit along the fence (see graphic below), and they can bring their own seat if they prefer.  We will provide the tickets at the mandatory graduation rehearsals on Tuesday, May 30th at 8:30 am.  Please see the sketches below that layout graduation guidelines and click here for the parking plan. Students are NOT allowed to decorate their caps for graduation.

Lifetouch Special Events will be providing professional photography services for our graduation ceremony. Register at by clicking here and you will be notified when graduation images and proofs are available.  Opt-in Code: Families can text this code 94358GY23 to 90738 and receive gallery communications via text message. • Access codes are NOT case sensitive

To help prepare for graduation, we wanted to provide families with as much information regarding logistics as possible.  Handicap and elderly seating will be available (limited quantity) on the field facing the graduates (please click here to complete the elderly/handicap seating accommodations request).  We will be providing transportation from the parking lot to the seating area on the field. Parents will be facing the graduates (overlooking the farm) on the field, and graduates will be facing home plate.  Graduates will walk in between the family section (20 ft of separation) to their seats.

Graduation rehearsal is mandatory. If you do not participate in the graduation rehearsal you will not be able to walk at graduation.  Four (4) graduation tickets, cap and gowns, and yearbooks will be distributed on Tuesday, May 30th. On the day of graduation (Thursday, June 1st) students will be reporting to the high school at 5:00 pm to conduct a mini rehearsal on graduation day.

Parking is limited on the south side of the campus and cannot accommodate all guests, so we are encouraging graduates and families to use the same vehicle to come to the ceremony.  There will be handicap parking along the tree line at Gilbert Hall and the student parking lot has approximately 90 spaces (combined).   Additional parking will be at the hayfield.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me (KBraga@bcahs.com).  We are excited to provide the Class of 2023 with a graduation ceremony on our restored beautiful campus.  As we continue to plan for this exciting ceremony, a few changes may be made as we finalize our plans.

Sincerely,

Kevin P. Braga
