Aggie Weekly- April 17th

Good Afternoon Students, Parents, and Community Members:
At this week’s Board of Trustees meeting they voted to shorten April vacation. We will close for two days (in addition to Patriot’s Day) and go to school for two days. School will be closed on Monday (holiday), Tuesday, and Friday. Our digital learning plan will be in effect for Wednesday and Thursday (see below). As for graduation and other senior events, both the Board of Trustees and Administration are committed to hosting as many events as possible. No formal vote for graduation took place last night. BA Prom is scheduled for Friday, July 17th. More information will be provided in the next few weeks regarding the remaining senior events calendar.

Week Ahead: UPDATED Alternate April Break
Last Day of School as of April 17th: Please understand that this continues to be a fluid situation and we are constantly monitoring and using guidance from DESE and local public health officials. to help us make decisions As of today, the last day for seniors is still Friday, May 22nd. Since the Board of Trustees voted on Tuesday to shorten April vacation by two days, the last day for everyone else has also been shortened by two days, which is now Monday, June 15th.

Final Exams as of April 17th: Please understand that this continues to be a fluid situation and we are constantly monitoring and using guidance from DESE and local public health officials. to help us make decisions. We have adopted a new grade scale for Quarter 4, which is Credit/No Credit, therefore, there will not be any final exams for seniors in May and for the remainder of the students in June.

Credit/No Credit Grade Scale: We wanted to remind students and parents that we are changing over to the new grade scale for Quarter 4. Students will now see that assignments will be graded as Credit/No Credit. Any questions, please contact your teacher.
