Aggie Weekly- November 19th

Good Afternoon Students, Parents, and Community Members:

This week we invited parents for our annual parent-teacher conferences. We heard so much positive feedback about how Bristol Aggie has helped their student and how incredibly supportive our teachers are with their child. We were able to witness this appreciation first hand when members of the PTO dropped off goodies and coffee to our teachers today (see photos below). #BAPride

Senior Photos: Below is a copy of the email that was sent out to seniors earlier this year.

Hello Seniors!

It's time to start thinking about senior photos! All senior photos and baby pictures are due by November 24, 2021. That is the last day of school before Thanksgiving! Please email all photos to me at kreilly@bcahs.com. Only digital copies of photos will be accepted.

Some guidelines:

  1. All photos must be school appropriate and meet the standards laid out in the student handbook.

  2. Be as creative as you would like. It doesn't need to be a posed portrait taken by a professional photographer. You can send in a candid shot taken on your phone. You are welcome to include pets, cars, etc.

  3. Make sure that your photo is in portrait, not landscape, orientation. If you send me a photo in landscape, it will be cropped to fit in the portrait templates in the yearbook.

  4. Make sure to leave a little extra space around the edges of the photo so that it can be cropped if necessary.

If you have any questions or concerns about your photos, please let Ms. Reilly know as soon as possible.

Student Services: The Gilder Lehrman Institute and Marist College are pleased to announce the McCormick Family Foundation–Gilder Lehrman Institute History Scholarship Program.

Thanksgiving Food Drive Update!

In a stunning turn of events, NRM -- the reigning champ for donations -- was crushed by Small Animal Science! We are so happy to see such high numbers of donations! We have made boxes for our community, and any remaining items will be donated to PACE of New Bedford and Saint Vincent de Paul’s in Taunton.

Thank you so much for all of your donations. We are so glad we will be able to share so much with others this Thanksgiving.

MSBA Update: This week our students gained access to the new addition which houses the new stairwell.  In addition (no pun intended), we have new bleachers and basketball hoops in both gyms!
