Aggie Weekly
Good Afternoon Students, Parents, and Community Members: Please click here for the Aggie Weekly
This week our students started to prepare for their midterm exams which start on Wednesday, January 23rd.  We wanted to remind our students to make up their work before Term 2 closes on Friday, January 25th. In addition if you owe shop hours, please contact your teacher to ensure you do not fail for the term due to needing your shop hours.

This week we have two High Five Club Winners!
Congratulations Lacey Parker and Blaze Abren.

Lacey and Blaze giving each other a high five! Keep up the amazing work!

Attention Student/Parent Athletes: The 2016 legislation in Massachusetts requires that parents, guardians, and other adults in a middle and high school extracurricular athlete’s life such as School Nurses, Athletic Directors, Coaches and Athletic Trainers, receive educational materials on the dangers of opioid use and misuse.  Massachusetts Department of Public Health (DPH) has developed educational materials on opioid misuse prevention and is partnering with schools across the state to share this  information with students, parents and school personnel. Because of the risk of injury and the subsequent need for pain management, student athletes may be at risk for opioid misuse.
Academic Excellence: Congrats to our 32 recipients of the John and Abigail Adams Scholarship!
The John and Abigail Adams Scholarship is a merit-based program that provides a tuition waiver for up to eight semesters of undergraduate education at a Massachusetts state college or university. For this scholarship, merit is based on student scores on the Massachusetts Comprehensive Assessment System (MCAS) test.
In order to be eligible for the scholarship, students must
score at the Advanced performance level on one of the three high school state assessment tests in ELA, Mathematics, or STE (Biology, Chemistry, Introductory Physics, or Technology/Engineering); and

score at the Proficient level or higher on the remaining two high school state assessment tests; and

have combined scores from the three tests that place them in the top 25 percent of students in the graduating class in their district.
