Good Afternoon Students, Parents, and Community Members:
This week we returned from February break and continue to progress with construction at Gilbert Hall as well continue to complete the punch list items at the Center for Science and the Environment. Student Commons is expected to be completed at the end of April, which will provide additional teaching spaces.
The Department of Education released updated guidance on transportation and we are currently exploring more a plan to bring more frequency to in-person learning. See the Virtual Town Hall meeting presentation/recording below for more details.

Welcome Ms. Kochan (Long Term Counselor Grades 10 & 12):
Ms. Kochan will be stepping in to relieve Mrs. Hamel during her maternity leave that will start next week. She will be working with grades 10 and 12 and assisting students with co-op educational opportunities.
She earned her Masters of Education in School Counseling from Salem State University last May and is currently taking courses in School Adjustment Counseling at Assumption University. As a School Counselor, Ms. Kochan stated that her primary responsibilities are to “promote academic, personal/social and college/career development of all students. Therefore, I am here for any student services related needs whether that be college and career, co-op, academic and/or personal concerns or if you just need to chat.”
She is located in the CSE building side B on the 2nd floor and all the way down the hall on the left (Room 2218). Feel free to stop in when needed or you can email me at kkochan@bcahs.com to set up a scheduled meeting. She looks forward to meeting and working with all of her students.

Virtual Town Hall: On Wednesday we met with families to discuss our Spring Return to In-Person Learning Plan. Even though we have a lot of planning still to complete, we wanted to reach out to families to get feedback on our preliminary plans and discuss some of our challenges that we currently face with returning to full in-person learning. Please take a look at the presentation and let us know if you have any questions. Thank you
